Privacy policy
This describes exactly what this website collects, why, and who else sees it. It is short because the site does little: it has no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts beyond the two named below.
Who is responsible
Felra BV, Twentepoort Oost 12-D, the Netherlands (KvK 97624071), is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions, or any request under the sections below: frank@frankoonk.com.
What this site stores on your device
No cookies. No tracking pixels, no local storage of personal data, no fingerprinting. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
The film you scroll through is downloaded into your browser's memory so it can be scrubbed smoothly. It is discarded when you close the tab.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. It uses no cookies and does not fingerprint visitors; it cannot follow you across sites and it does not build a profile of you. What is recorded is aggregate: page, referrer, country, browser and device type.
When you book time
To make a booking you provide:
- Name, email address and phone number
- Address and country — required to determine VAT
- Company name and VAT number, if you enter them
- The hours you selected, and your description of what you need the time for
That information is sent to Stripe, which processes the payment. Stripe also receives your billing address and payment details; your card or bank details are never seen by, or stored on, this website. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data — see Stripe's privacy policy.
The details of the appointment, including what you wrote about your question, are used to prepare for and hold the session. They are kept for as long as the engagement and Dutch tax law require — invoices and the transactions behind them for seven years, as the Belastingdienst requires.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has cleared. Cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the first booked hour; see the terms for the refund rules.
Legal basis
- Performance of a contract — the booking details and your brief, because without them the session cannot take place.
- Legal obligation — invoice and transaction records, kept for the seven-year Dutch retention period.
- Legitimate interest — cookieless, aggregate analytics, to understand whether the site works. The interest is narrow and the impact on you is minimal.
Who else processes your data
- Stripe — payment processing and invoicing.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and analytics. Traffic passes through their network to reach this site.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising. Both providers may process data outside the EU under the safeguards described in their own policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction of it, erasure, restriction of processing, a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email frank@frankoonk.com and you will get an answer within thirty days. Erasure cannot override the seven-year retention that tax law imposes on invoices.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
This page changes when the site does. It is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, and it will be replaced when the full general terms and conditions are finished.
